Fat Dissolving Injections

Aqualyx is an injectable solution discovered by Dr Motolese, an Italian specialist, used to digest localised fat deposits in areas such as the hips, saddle bags, thigh, knees, jowls and chin. The body then expels the released fatty acids naturally. This is a sculpting product and not used for weight loss. 

Fat dissolving injections, more properly known as Injection lipolysis, or intralipotherapy,

 such as Aqualyx and DesoBody, contain a chemical that we all have in our gut that digests the fat in our food. It’s called Deoxycholic acid and it dissolves the walls of fat cells allowing the stored fat to spill out and be excreted by the body. 

If you think of fat being stored as lumps on shelves in a warehouse, then losing weight reduces the size of each fat lump. But if we visit that cake shop too often again then they enlarge back to the size they were, or bigger. 

On the other hand, Aqualyx and Deso dissolve the shelves in the warehouse, spilling the fat out to be excreted. The advantage to this is that if we start to gain weight again, the shelves have gone, so fat can’t be stored there anymore!

This is why these injections are for stubborn areas of fat, not for whole body weight loss.
